On this day 03/10/1968

On this day 03/10/1968: The Beatles recorded a song by George Harrison called "Savoy Truffle". It was inspired by his friend the guitarist Eric Clapton's love of Mackintosh's Good News chocolates. They were recording at Trident Studios, London. George, Paul, and Ringo would only need to record one take.
