On This Day 07/01/1971: Black Sabbath released the album "Paranoid" in the US. It was their follow-up to their debut album "Black Sabbath". The album had already been released in September in the UK. It was delayed in the US as the album "Black Sabbath" was still on the charts. As well as featuring the song "Paranoid" it included the popular Black Sabbath songs "Iron Man" and "War Pigs".
