On this day 13/09/1967: The Beatles formed an electronics company called Fiftyshapes, Ltd. They appointed John Alexis Mardas who was known as Magic Alex. Alex made many claims to inventions he could build. These included a 72-track tape machine (Abbey Road only used 4 track machines) and acoustic baffles for drums using an invisible sonic force field. None of these inventions were ever made.
