On this day 15/05/1963: The Rolling stones signed with Decca Records. Dick Rowe the head of A&R at Decca Records had turned down signing The Beatles the year before. George Harrison recommended he take a look at the Rolling Stones and watched them perform at the Crawdaddy Club.
